Privacy Policy

1. Who We Are
AXL Trux ("AXL," "we," "us," or "our") operates the axltrux.com website and the AXL mobile and web application (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform provides on-demand dump truck dispatch services connecting contractors, fleet owners, dispatchers, and drivers. 2. Information We Collect
a. Information you provide directly
• Account registration: name, email address, phone number, company name, and role (contractor, dispatcher, driver, or fleet owner). • Profile information: driver license number, commercial vehicle information, insurance details, and compliance documents. • Payment information: billing address and payment method details. Full card numbers are processed by our payment provider (Stripe) and are not stored on AXL servers. • Communications: messages you send to AXL support or through in-app messaging.
b. Information collected automatically
• Device information: device type, operating system, unique device identifiers, and browser type. • Location data: GPS coordinates collected from driver and dispatcher devices while the app is in use. Location data is used to match trucks to job sites and display live fleet positions. • Usage data: pages visited, features used, trip history, and session duration. • Log data: IP address, access times, and error logs.
c. Information from third-party integrations
• QuickBooks / Intuit: When you connect your QuickBooks account to AXL, we access and store OAuth tokens on your behalf. We use those tokens to read customer records and create invoices in your QuickBooks account. We do not sell or share QuickBooks data with any third party outside of what is required to provide the integration. You may disconnect QuickBooks at any time from your account settings, which revokes AXL's access tokens. • Other integrations: If you connect other third-party services, we will describe the data exchanged at the time of connection.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to: • Provide, operate, and improve the Platform and dispatch services. • Match trip requests with available drivers and trucks. • Process payments and generate billing records. • Create and send invoices through connected accounting integrations (e.g., QuickBooks). • Send transactional notifications (trip assignments, status updates, receipts). • Provide customer support. • Monitor and enforce compliance with our Terms of Service. • Detect fraud, abuse, and security incidents. • Comply with legal obligations. We do not use your information for targeted advertising or sell your personal data to data brokers.
4. How We Share Your Information
We share information only as described below: • With other platform participants: Job site addresses and trip details are shared with the driver assigned to your trip. Dispatcher contact information may be visible to drivers on assigned trips. • With service providers: We share data with vendors who help us operate the Platform, including cloud hosting (Google Firebase / Google Cloud), payment processing (Stripe), push notification delivery (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and analytics. These vendors are contractually required to protect your data. • With accounting integrations: Data you explicitly submit for invoicing (customer names, load amounts, ticket details) is sent to your connected accounting system (e.g., QuickBooks) on your instruction. • For legal reasons: We may disclose information if required by law, subpoena, or to protect the safety and rights of AXL, our users, or the public. • In a business transfer: If AXL is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you before your data is subject to a different privacy policy.
5. Location Data
Driver location is collected continuously while the driver app is active and a trip is in progress. Dispatcher and contractor apps collect location when the app is in the foreground to enable map features. Location history associated with completed trips is retained for 90 days for dispute resolution and compliance purposes, then deleted. Real-time location data is not sold or shared with any third party outside of the AXL Platform.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g., financial records, which we retain for 7 years). Trip records and load tickets may be retained for up to 7 years to support billing disputes and regulatory compliance.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to: • Access the personal information we hold about you. • Correct inaccurate information. • Request deletion of your personal data. • Object to or restrict certain processing. • Export your data in a machine-readable format. • Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent. To exercise these rights, email privacy@axltrux.com. We will respond within 30 days. You may disconnect third-party integrations (such as QuickBooks) at any time from your account settings.
8. Security
We implement industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS), encryption at rest for sensitive fields, access controls, and regular security reviews. OAuth tokens for third-party integrations are stored encrypted. No system is perfectly secure. If you believe your account has been compromised, contact us immediately at privacy@axltrux.com.
9. Children's Privacy
The Platform is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes by email or in-app notification at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
